Hosted at Zoetropolis Cinema Stillhouse, this event will consist of a panel discussion moderated by Pretty Thing co-founder, Sarah Hawkins, featuring local women in creative fields:

The evening's discussion will focus on female friendship, practical support of women in creative careers, and what it means to embody the spirit of true collaboration. Panel to be followed by audience Q&A and time for mingling and shopping local women-owned vendors.

Professor Jeff Bach will present and explore the unique Monastic Community at Ephrata. He will take us on a journey as he explores Ephrata through its folk-art and musical compositions. Dr. Bach in addition to serving as Young Center director, Jeff teaches courses on the history of Anabaptist and Pietist groups and communal societies. He is the author of Voices of the Turtledoves: The Sacred World of Ephrata (Penn State Press, 2003) and co-author with Michael Birkel of Genius of the Transcendent: Mystical Writings of Jakob Boehme (Shambhala, 2010). He earned his Ph.D. in religion from Duke University in 1997 and is an ordained minister in the Church of the Brethren.
