An idealistic young King Arthur hopes to create a kingdom with the Knights of the Round Table who fight for justice and right. His ideals however are tested when his lovely queen, Guenevere, falls in love with his favorite knight, Lancelot and the fate of the kingdom hangs in the balance. Hits include If Ever I Would Leave You, I Loved You Once in Silence and of course, Camelot.

Where: Friendship Community at 1149 East Oregon Road, Lititz, PA. The course will loop through Landis Homes and finish back at the starting line. Off busy public roads, ¼ mile grass, 1 mile packed fine gravel, remaining route paved.

Friendship Community will also be hosting its 26th Fest & Auction at the same location for race participants to enjoy a free breakfast, kid’s activities, a large country auction and plants, baked goods, and more for sale. The Fest will feature local artwork made by Friendship Heart Gallery Artists.

Run the Rock - Rugged Trail Run

Race Options:
5K: 8:00 AM start – Runners who are looking for an above-average challenge will find the grounds of Black Rock Retreat to be surprisingly rugged. The 5K loop will cover the over 100 acres of Black Rock Retreat property including a steep incline from the Octoraro creek. Total run has over 600 ft of elevation change.
10K: 8:15 AM start – This event is not for the amateur runner. Course is single track and on naturally rugged terrain with creek crossings, steep climbs, and numerous rocky descents. No manufactured obstacles. Be alert for multiple rocks and roots.
Walkers: Participants interested in a walking challenge are invited to meet on the ballfield at 8:00 AM for registration and an 8:20 AM start. The walking event is non-competitive, but all pre-registered walkers will receive a complimentary t-shirt.
Kids: A Lollipop Loop for kids 1st – 5th grade (must be accompanied by an adult) will occur on the ballfield at 8:30 AM with bubble machines at the finish line.
